This policy describes how we handle personal information of account holders and people whose details you store (your clients, staff).

We sell to businesses in the US, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. We are not a consumer social app.

1. What we collect

• Account: name, email, hashed password, company name, country, currency, timezone, tax label/rate you type, address you type, plan and payment status.
• Business records you enter: clients, jobs, quotes, invoices, statements, products, photos, signatures, scanned slips, notes.
• Technical: login cookies, IP and device needed to run the app and stop abuse.
• Payments: NOWPayments processes subscription payments. We store order ids, amounts, plan, and IPN payloads needed to grant a plan. We do not keep crypto seed phrases.

We do not ask for your customers’ card numbers.

2. Why we use it

To run the product, authenticate you, apply plan limits, send transactional mail (invites, confirmations), host files, improve reliability, and comply with law.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use your job data to train public AI models.

Ram Scan sends slip images you upload to an AI provider so text can be read. You should not scan documents you are not allowed to process.

3. Where it lives / processors

• Supabase — database, auth, file storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• NOWPayments — subscription checkout and IPN.
• OpenAI or DeepSeek (if configured) — Ram Scan / assistant text.

Hosting regions are those of these providers. Data may be stored outside the US, NZ or AU.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the processors above, with you (and users you invite), or if the law requires it.

Your field staff and bookkeeper see what their role allows inside your company only.

5. Retention

While the account is open we keep the records you created.

After you cancel, we keep data up to 30 days for export, then delete or anonymise it from production systems, except backups that expire on their own cycle and records we must keep for tax or fraud.

6. Your rights

You can access or correct your account from Settings, or email hello@rampeat.com.

You can export invoices and statements from the app. Ask us if you need a fuller export.

You can ask us to delete an account. We will do that after the 30-day window unless we must keep a subset of records.

United States: we do not sell personal information as that term is used in the CCPA/CPRA. You may request access or deletion as above.

Australia: we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles as they apply to a small overseas seller. Complaints: hello@rampeat.com, then the OAIC if unresolved.

New Zealand: we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020. Complaints: hello@rampeat.com, then the Privacy Commissioner if unresolved.

South Africa: if POPIA applies to a particular record, you may also write to hello@rampeat.com. We do not use this product as a South African consumer filing service.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are required to sign you in and keep you signed in. We do not run advertising pixels on the app.

8. Children

Rampeat is not for anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We will post updates on this page and, for material changes, email the account address.
